Audition Information

All interested: email Festival56auditions@live.com to be assigned to an audition time.

For professional auditioners attending live auditions: 
Be prepared with 16 bars of musical theatre with a second contrasting 16 bars ready in case asked (second 16 bars may be a pop song) and a monologue (Shakespeare is encouraged but not required) and be prepared to dance if asked.

For professional auditioners with taped submissions: 
Two contrasting 16 bars of musical theatre (one may be a pop song) and a monologue (Shakespeare is encouraged but not required.) Please submit a dance combination in the musical theatre style.

For professional auditioners attending local auditions in Princeton, Il: 
Be prepared with 16 bars of musical theatre or pop song with a contrasting 16 bars ready if asked and a monologue (Shakespeare is encouraged but not required) and be prepared to dance if asked.

For local auditioners in Princeton, Il:
If interested in the musicals, please bring sheet music to a verse and chorus of a song that you feel shows you off and be ready to stay and dance if asked.

If interested in Shakespeare, be prepared to read one of two Shakespeare monologue cuts that will be sent to you via response to your email audition inquiry.
